Grain MCP

Connect Grain to Claude or ChatGPT and query your meeting data with natural language.

Grain's MCP (Model Context Protocol) server gives AI assistants direct access to your meetings, transcripts, AI notes, and workspace data. Ask questions, generate reports, create clips, and organize recordings, all from your AI chat interface.

For technical setup and the full tool reference, see the Grain MCP developer docs.

FAQ

Is my data safe? Grain's MCP server uses OAuth and HTTPS. Your data stays in your Grain account and is processed temporarily by AI to answer your questions. View your connected AI client's privacy policy for more information about data handling.

What data can the MCP access? Only data you already have access to in Grain — meetings you attended, contacts, AI notes, transcripts, and deal info (with HubSpot connected). It cannot access meetings you weren't part of.

Can I control which capabilities my AI client uses? Yes. In Claude’s ‘Connectors’ menu you can toggle individual Grain tools on or off. ChatGPT offers a similar feature, allowing you to specify when ChatGPT should ask for permission to use an MCP tool.
