How to set up Tags

Easily tag your clips to organize and find insights faster.

What are Tags in Grain?

Tags are a group of your most frequently used labels that you can quickly apply to your clips after your calls.

They make it easy to:

  • Keep your conversations organized

  • Maintain consistency across meetings

  • Save time when searching for specific meetings or themes later

How to Add a Tag Before a Meeting Starts

Tag a meeting in advance so it's already organized by the time the recording is ready.

  1. Open the 'Meetings' page and make sure 'Meeting tags' is a listed property. Learn more about 'List properties' here: Grain Meetings Page: Explained

  2. Click the Tag icon (#).

  3. Type a new tag name or select one from your existing list.

The tag carries through to the recording once the meeting ends.

How to Add a Tag After Capturing a Meeting

  1. Open your meeting recording.

  2. Select the 3 dots in the top right corner.

  3. Select 'Add tags.'

  4. Type a new tag name or select one from your existing list.

How to delete a tag

  • To delete a tag, hover over it and click the 'x'

Note: You can only add or delete a tag. Editing tags is a feature we do not support at the moment.
