Manually Record Meetings With Grain

How to manually record a meeting with Grain

Updated over a week ago

Step 1: Manually Record a Meeting

Follow the instructions below to manually record a meeting.

  • There are three ways to manually record a meeting. First is by using the 'Desktop Capture' button. After selecting 'Desktop Capture' Grain will start recording.

  • The second way to manually record a meeting is by using the 'Bot recording' button. All you need to do from here is insert a meeting link or ID, then you will see the record button turn green. Once you press record, Grain will initialize and join the meeting.

  • Alternatively, if you have a calendar connected to your Grain account, you can choose which meetings you would like to record individually on the Meetings page by using the dropdown on the right hand side.

Step 2: Settings Check

If you want to disable the auto-record feature in Grain, so you only capture meetings that are manually recorded, start by navigating to the 'My Meetings' tab in account settings and make sure all auto-capture settings are deselected.

Once all auto-capture settings are off, Grain will only record meetings you manually select for recording.
