Step 1: Settings Check
To get started with manually recording meetings with Grain, lets first ensure that our auto record settings are turned off. You can do this by navigating to the 'My Meetings' tab in account settings and make sure 'Don't auto record any meetings' is selected.
You can verify this setting is active on your account by the green indicator bar at the top of the page.
Step 2: Manually Record a Meeting
Now that we have verified our recording settings are correct, we can move on to manually recording our meeting.
There are two ways to manually record a meeting. First is by using the 'Meeting Link' bar at the top of your screen when you are on the Grain calendar page.
All you need to do from here is insert a meeting link or ID, then you will see the record button turn green. Once you press record, Grain will initialize and join the meeting.
Alternatively, if you have a calendar connected to your Grain account, you can choose which meetings you would like to record individually on the Calendar page by using the toggle on the right hand side.
