Leveraging custom note templates reveals the real magic of Grain AI. Here we describe how to create your own note templates that meet your note taking needs perfectly.

Create a custom note template
Navigate to the 'Templates' settings page
Select '+ Create Template' at the top right of the page
Name your template. You can do this by changing the text in the 'Untitled Template' field at the top of the page.
Now we can start adding custom sections or prebuilt sections to our template by pressing the '+ Custom AI Notes' button.
You can add as many of these as you'd like.
You can also write as many of your own prompts as you'd like!
To write your own prompts, type in a question you’d like answered and Grain AI will write notes that answer that question in this section.
From here click '+ Add to Notes' and it will be added as its own section to your custom template
You can also rearrange the order in which the templates appear by dragging the 6 dots to the left of the section name.
Now we can either add more template sections or create the template by selecting the green create button on the right hand side.
To reset the content inside the custom template, press the three dots on the right hand side and select 'Reset Template'
