Create and Share Highlights!
To create a Highlight:
Select the text you would like included in the highlight you are about to make.
Click the pencil 'Highlight' button.
Give your highlight a title, or let the AI do the work for you!
Press create and then your highlight will appear in the highlights tab!
To Share Highlights:
Once you have created your highlight, you can chose various different ways to share it!
Adding to stories
Adds the highlight to a story
Downloading Highlights
Downloads a local copy to your computer
Copying Transcripts
Copies the highlight transcript to your clipboard
Sending to Slack
Send the highlight to a desired Slack channel or direct message recipient.
Create and Share Playlists!
What is a Playlist?
A Playlist is a way to compile and share recordings across members of your workspace, alongside external members.
How to create a playlist?
Navigate to the meetings tab
From here, we can create playlists in many different ways. Lets start with the most basic way of doing this, by individual meeting.
To create your first playlist, simply click on the meeting you want to put into a playlist, and press the playlist button!
From here we can now select an existing playlist to put our meeting in, or create a new one!
You can make these playlists as long as you want, and also create as many playlists as you want!
Now let's talk more about sharing playlists!
Sharing Playlists
First, lets start by going to the 'Playlists' tab on the left hand side of the Grain application!
To share a playlist, simply select the share arrow icon on the far right hand side.
We will now be prompted with this familiar share menu, and can:
Toggle on or off entire workspace access, so that everyone in your workspace can see the playlist.
Generate a link that can allow people certain accessibility options depending on your configuration.
Or lastly you can invite people to your playlist by entering their name (if inside your workspace) or by entering their email address.
Create and Share Stories!
To learn how to use stories with Grain, let's first navigate to the Stories tab!
Stories are essentially compiled clips into a short form piece of content! They are super useful for sharing complete thoughts with team members quickly!
Let's begin by Pressing the '+ Add' button in the top right corner!
We can now begin by adding a section to our story.
I created an introduction section to put my intro highlights under
From here we can now press '+ Add New Highlight' to select a highlight to add to our story.
Now we can chose the highlight clips we want to include in this story.
We can follow this same process to create as many sections, and include as many highlights as we wish!
