What does collaborating with team members look like inside of Grain?
You can work together with your team in many different ways with Grain, but lets first start here:
Transcript Mentions
To mention someone inside the transcript, you can select the piece of text you want to send by highlighting it and pressing the comment button.
From here, we can use the @ key to bring up our list of workspace members. Then you can select whoever you want to mention them in your comment.
Now you can type whatever comment you want to them.
Sharing Meetings With Teammates
Click on the meeting you would like to share and edit permissions for.
At the top of the page once inside the meeting, you can hover over the people icon to see who the participants in the meeting were.
Then, we can go to the top right and press the share button.
This will then open the share menu. From here you can type in email addresses you would like to share the meeting with.
You can also toggle on or off wether or not you want to share this meeting with your workspace.
This menu also provides a complete overview of everyone with access to that meeting.
To configure who is able to view meetings with recording links, you can select one of three options from the dropdown bar.
Anyone with link - anyone who has access to the recording link can view the meeting.
Members of Grain - anyone inside your workspace.
Only members with access - only specific people you chose to give access to.
You can regenerate the meeting link at any time using the three dots on the right hand side.
Share meetings via Slack
Easily share meeting summary notes via slack. This can be done manually or by setting up an automatic send out. Here's how:
Create a notification to automatically send the summary notes to a channel or a specified person within your Slack workspace:
'+ New notification' >Use '+ Filter', to choose the type of meetings you want to send to Slack.
Ensure your meetings are shared with the workspace to use this automation.
You can also manually share summary notes, this can be helpful in a case where you would prefer to review and edit the notes before sharing on slack.
Go to your meeting recording page > Click send to slack
You can now specific the channel or person(s) you'd like to send the notes to. You can send to multiple channels and people at once!
Send Meeting Recap Emails
Finally, you can set your recap emails sharing preference in Grain from your workspace settings. This is very helpful if you and your team would like to review
1. Only send recap to participants in your Grain workspace
Set your preference to only send recap emails to participants who are members of your Grain Workspace.
2. Send recap to all participants(s) from your team domain(s)
You can set the recap emails to be shared with anyone who's email domain matches your team's domain.
3. Send recap to all participants
Enable this setting to share recaps everyone in the meeting, whether internal or external.
4. Don't send recap emails
This option disables recaps for everyone, which means no recap emails will be sent out.
