Grain's Zapier integration lets you trigger automated workflows whenever something happens in Grain—a new recording, a new highlight, a new story—and send that data anywhere Zapier connects. Use it to log meeting notes to Notion, push transcripts to Google Drive, or update records in your CRM.
Plan availability:
Personal Zapier: Starter and above. Connects to your own meetings only.
Workspace Zapier: Business and above. Connects to all meetings across the workspace. Requires admin access to set up.
Connect Grain to Zapier
Log in to Zapier or create a free account
Go to ’App Connections’ → ‘+ Add connection’, search for Grain, and click ’Add connection’
Choose the connection type:
Personal: accesses only meetings you record
Workspace: accesses all meetings in your workspace (admin required)
Authorize Grain. Your connection appears as Grain 1.0.0 in App Connections.
Available triggers
Grain triggers fire when events occur in your workspace. Use these as the starting point for any Zap.
Trigger | What it fires on |
Highlight Added | A new clip is created that matches your filter |
Highlight Deleted | A clip is deleted |
Highlight Updated | An existing clip is updated |
Recording Added | A new recording is processed and ready |
Recording Deleted | A recording is deleted |
Recording Updated | An existing recording is updated |
Story Added | A new story is created |
Story Deleted | A story is deleted |
Story Updated | An existing story is updated |
Each trigger supports filter conditions to scope it to specific meeting types, participants, or tags rather than firing on every event.
The ’Recording Added’ trigger payload includes the transcript and links to the recording media, making it well suited for workflows that process or archive full meeting content.

Migrating from the old Zapier integration
A new version of the Grain Zapier integration launched in March 2026. Existing Zaps built on the old version continue to work, but the old version will be deprecated in September 2026.
To use the new triggers and features with an existing Zap, re-add the Grain trigger and select your new Grain 1.0.0 connection. New Zaps default to the new version automatically.
