Grain is available as a native connector in Claude. Once connected, you can ask about a meeting the same way you'd ask Claude anything else, and Claude pulls the transcript, AI notes, action items, or other Grain data behind the scenes.

In Claude, go to ’Customize’ → ‘Connectors’
Click '+' to search for connectors
Search for ‘Grain’
Select & connect Grain
You’ll be redirected to Grain to approve the connection

How Grain surfaces inside Claude
Once Grain is connected to Claude via MCP you can pull up action items, summarize a call, or search across meetings for a topic, a company, or a person. Claude can also create clips, tag meetings, build a playlist from a set of meetings, or pull together a story from clips.
On Grain Business and Enterprise plans, Claude can pull HubSpot deal intelligence, sales coaching scorecards, and multi-meeting analyses like SPICED or MEDDICC qualification, either from a plain-language request or from a library of pre-built report prompts that chain several Grain lookups into a single structured report.

What Claude plans support the Grain connector? All Claude plans support the Grain MCP connector.
Can Claude take actions in Grain, or just read data? That depends on which Grain tools you enable. Read tools like searching meetings or fetching a transcript don't change anything in Grain. Any tool that could create or modify data requires your approval before it runs, unless you've set it to run automatically.
What data can the MCP server access? Only data you already have permission to view in Grain: meetings you attended, contacts, and AI-generated notes and transcripts. It can't access private meetings you weren't part of.
