Grain is available as a native app in ChatGPT. Once connected, you can ask ChatGPT about a meeting the same way you'd ask any other question, and it pulls the transcript, notes, or action items from Grain behind the scenes.
Connect Grain to ChatGPT
If you're connecting to an individual account:
In ChatGPT, go to 'Apps' and search for 'Grain'
Select 'Grain' and click 'Connect'
Sign in and approve ChatGPT access to your Grain account data
If you're connecting as an admin for a workspace
Go to 'Workspace settings', then 'Apps'
Find 'Grain' and enable it for the workspace, or for specific roles if you're on Enterprise or Edu and using role-based access control
Each person on your team then connects their own account by going to 'Apps', finding 'Grain,' and selecting 'Connect'
Note: Enabling Grain at the workspace level doesn't connect it for anyone automatically. Each person still authenticates their own Grain account, and ChatGPT only accesses the meetings and data that person already has permission to see in Grain.

From a new ChatGPT chat, send the following test prompt:

How Grain surfaces in ChatGPT
Grain exposes the same underlying capabilities to ChatGPT that it does to any other connected MCP client: meeting lists and details, full transcripts, AI-generated notes and action items, semantic search across meetings, and lookups by company or person. On Business and Enterprise Grain plans, that extends to HubSpot deal intelligence and sales coaching data. Grain's MCP in ChatGPT also supports write actions, like creating a clip, adding a tag, or building a playlist or story.

What ChatGPT plans support the Grain connector? All ChatGPT plans support the Grain MCP connector.
What data can the MCP server access? Only data you already have permission to view in Grain: meetings you attended, contacts, and AI-generated notes and transcripts. It can't access private meetings you weren't part of.
I'm on a Business or Enterprise workspace. Can my admin connect Grain for the whole team? An admin can add Grain for the workspace, but each team member needs to connect their own Grain account individually.
