Grain has recently updated its search functionality to offer a more refined experience, allowing users to search across entire call library transcripts with ease. The update includes enhanced filtering and sorting options to help users find relevant content quickly and efficiently.

Key Features:

  1. Search by Keywords:

    • You can search using single words across all call transcripts in your Grain library. This powerful search capability ensures you can locate specific mentions or discussions within your recorded meetings.

  2. Filters:

    • Date: Narrow down your search results by selecting a specific date range.

    • Owner: Filter results based on the owner of the recordings.

    • Smart Tags: Use pre-defined smart tags to quickly locate tagged portions of your calls.

    • Tags: Similar to Smart Tags, but includes custom tags that you've created.

    • Participants: Filter by specific meeting participants to see only the calls where they were present.

    • Company: Search within recordings associated with specific companies.

    • Playlists: If you organize your calls into playlists, you can filter your search to a particular playlist.

  3. Sort Options:

    • Relevance: The default sorting method, prioritizing search results that are most relevant to your keyword(s).

    • Most Recent: Allows you to sort results by the most recent meetings first, helping you quickly access the latest discussions.

  4. Include Transcripts Toggle:

    • Easily toggle on/off the inclusion of transcripts in your search results. When turned on, the search will scan through the entire library's transcripts for potential matches.

How to Use Search:

  1. Accessing Search:

    • Navigate to the "Search" tab from your Grain account.

  2. Entering Keywords:

    • Simply type a word or a keyword into the search bar. Grain will instantly pull up all related transcripts across your meetings.

  3. Applying Filters:

    • Click on the "Filter" button to refine your search results. You can select multiple filters to narrow down your search further.

  4. Sorting Results:

    • Use the "Sort by" dropdown menu to order your search results by relevance or most recent.
