Grain recording denied? Don't worry, here are some options

Updated over 8 months ago

If the meeting host denied Grain's recording request, there are a few options:

  1. Reach out to the host: Ask them directly if recording is okay. Explain your use case for having a recording of the meeting.

  2. Explore alternative recording: If the meeting platform allows it (e.g., Zoom, Meet or Teams), use the built-in recording feature. After the call is complete you can upload the recording to Grain. Learn more about uploading recordings here.

  3. Ask to reschedule the call: If recording is crucial, consider asking the meeting participants to reschedule the meeting with the participants' awareness of the rescheduled meeting being recorded.
