Free
The Free plan is ideal for individuals or small teams who want basic recording and sharing capabilities for a short period of time. The Free Plan allows unlimited recordings and provides access to essential features like recording, sharing, and basic organization, but does not support uploading. The free plan has the following limitations:
The free Notetaker seat: each workspace on the Free plan includes one free Notetaker seat (one user who can record meetings). Additional users in the workspace can view and comment on shared recordings as free viewers but cannot record.
Recording limit: individual meetings are capped at 45 minutes. There is no limit on the number of meetings you can record.
Bot recording cap for personal email users: free plan users without a company email domain (for example, Gmail or Outlook personal accounts) can record up to 20 meetings via the Grain bot before needing to upgrade.
What is not included: file uploads, Trackers, AI coaching, CRM integrations, Teams, and API access.

Choosing the right plan
To determine which plan is right for you, consider the following:
Team Size: Evaluate the size of your team. If you're a solo user or have a small team, the Starter Plan might suffice. For larger teams, consider the Business or Enterprise Plan for additional features and support.
Features: Identify the features that are most important to you and your team. If you need advanced organization capabilities or AI functionality, the Business or Enterprise Plan would be suitable.
Budget: Consider your budget and how much you're willing to invest in a video capture and sharing platform. The Starter Plan is a cost-effective option, while the Business and Enterprise Plans offer more features but at a higher cost.
Security and Compliance: If your organization has strict security and compliance requirements, the Enterprise Plan provides additional security features and customization options to meet those needs.
API Access and Automation: If your team requires API access for exporting transcripts or integrating with other tools, or if you want to automate workflows and reduce manual processes, taking a look at the Starter Plan or Business Plan is the best place to begin.
FAQ
Can I mix plan tiers in the same workspace? No. All paid seats must be on the same plan tier. To change tiers, all paid seats upgrade or downgrade together.
What happens to my data if I downgrade? Your recordings and notes are retained. Features that are not available on the lower plan will become inaccessible, but your data is not deleted.
Can I try Business features before committing? Yes, start a free 14-day trial by signing up with a valid business domain email here or contact help@grain.com.
How does annual vs monthly billing work? Annual billing is charged upfront at a discounted rate. Monthly billing is charged each month at a higher per-seat rate. You can switch between billing frequencies at renewal.
