Grain's automated SPICED analysis helps sales teams gain deeper insights into their deals and improve overall performance. This article covers how to set up SPICED automation and leverage its benefits.
Setting Up SPICED Automation
1. Select SPICED in the Get Started Modal
When you first go to Grain Deals, you'll see a "Automate you Sales Methodology" banner:
Select "Get Started" in the banner
In the modal, click on "SPICED" to choose it as your preferred methodology
If SPICED isn't your preferred sales methodology, click "Request a different methodology" to choose from one of the listed Sales Methodologies or submit a custom request.
2. Automatic Deal Analysis
Once SPICED is selected, Grain will automatically start analyzing your open sales deals across all 5 SPICED categories:
Situation
Pain
Impact
Critical Event
Decision
3. Review Automated Insights
To view the analysis for each deal:
Navigate to the Deals page in Grain
Select a specific deal
Review the SPICED section in the Overview tab
Click on each category to expand and view detailed insights
Note: Grain pulls information from your connected HubSpot account and recorded conversations to provide these insights.
