  1. Navigate to Stories in the left sidebar

  2. Select, or create, a story

  3. Below the story title, select ‘Tags’

  4. Type a new tag name to add one, or view tags already applied via the story’s clips

Remove a tag

  1. Open the meeting or clip

  2. Click the three dot icon in the top-right corner

  3. Select ‘Add tags’ to open the tag list

  4. Hover over the tag you want to remove and click the ’x’.

Note: Tags can be added and removed but cannot be edited or renamed after creation. If you need a different name, delete the old tag and create a new one.

Apply tags in bulk with MCP

If you use the Grain MCP, you can apply or remove tags across multiple meetings at once using natural language. For example: "Tag all external meetings from last week as #client-calls." See Grain MCP for setup details.

Filter by tag

Tags applied to meetings appear as filter options on the ’Meetings’ page. Use the filters to find all recordings with a specific tag across your library.
