Updated over a week ago

Step 1: Now that we've finished recording our meeting, lets talk about sharing the notes with your team afterwards!

  • First, lets navigate to our settings page to configure our post meeting email settings!

  1. Under 'Meeting Recap Emails' lets select which meetings generate automatic meeting recap emails and who receives them!

  • We have a few options to select from the dropdown

    • Only send recap to participants from your Grain workspace

      • This will only send emails to participants in the meeting that are part of your workspace.

    • Send recap to to all participants from your team's domain(s)

      • This will only send to participants within your organization whose emails match your team's domain.

    • Send recap to all participants

      • This will send a recap email to everyone in the meeting.

    • Don't send recap emails

      • This option will not send any emails after the meeting concludes.

Now lets learn about other ways to automate sharing notes in Grain!

Automate Sharing Notes with Slack!

To begin, lets navigate to our 'Slack Integration' settings page!

  • Once connected your settings page will look like the one above.

Under 'Meeting notifications' we can create if statements and automate when and what meetings get automatically shared in Slack!

  • To create a new notification begin by pressing the '+ New Notification' button

  • Now you can apply filters before meetings are sent to Slack. For example:

    • By Ownership

      • Only get notified of meetings owned by a specific person.

    • Participants

      • Only get notified of meetings if certain participants are present.

    • Trackers

      • Only get notified of meetings that include specific key words or phrases.

    • Tags

      • Only get notified of meetings with particular tags.

    • Company

      • Only get notified of meetings with certain company domains.

    • Meeting Type

      • Only get notified of specific types of meetings (e.g., team meetings)

  • To Channel or Direct Message

    • This routes the meeting and tells it where to send the meeting inside of Slack.

  • You can also disconnect this integration at anytime by selecting the 3 dots next to the workspace name in the integration's settings page.

It is important to note that you can create as many of these automations as you prefer. We recommend every user in the workspace to configure this to their liking!
