Up next — upcoming meetings from your calendar

The Up next section at the top of the landing page lists meetings pulled from your connected Google or Outlook calendar.

Each row shows:

  • Meeting title

  • Date and time of the meeting

  • Whether the meeting is Internal or External

  • A record drop-down on the right used to set the recording method.

Past meetings — your recording library

Below the Up next section, your previously recorded meetings are grouped by day in reverse chronological order.

Each recording row shows:

  • Thumbnail preview

  • Title, start time, and meeting duration

  • Whether the meeting was Internal or External

  • A three-dot menu for quick actions on the recording

Click any row to open the full recording page. For a breakdown of what's inside an individual recording, see Grain Recording Page: Explained.

List properties — customize displayed meeting information

Additional properties can be shown on each meeting row by selecting the "List properties" button at the top-right corner:

  • Team: The team the meeting will be shared with (e.g., Sales, Customer Support)

  • Company: Meeting host company name

  • Recorder: Who is set to record

  • Participants: Participant list & count

  • Meeting tags: Tags used to organize meetings

  • Trackers: Keyword trackers triggered in a meeting

  • Comments: Comment count

  • Clips: Clip count

  • Views: View count

  • Meeting type: Meeting type for note template control

Team tabs

The tab row beneath the page header switches the view between your personal meetings and your team libraries:

  • 'My meetings' displays meetings you attended or recorded

  • The tab immediately after 'My meetings' (before the divider line) is the team you belong to (all users belong to exactly one team)

  • Tabs after the divider (e.g., Sales, Customer Success) are teams you've subscribed to (you can subscribe to multiple teams)

  • Select the + button to add another subscribed team to the tab bar

Teams determine which recordings get auto-shared and who can see them. See Teams – Automatically Organize and Share Meetings for setup.

+ New — start a recording

The + New button in the top-right corner starts a recording outside your scheduled calendar:

  • Desktop capture: record audio directly from your computer with no bot in the meeting.

  • Bot capture: paste a Zoom, Meet, Teams, or Webex link and Grain joins as a bot

  • File upload: upload a recording captured outside of Grain

  • Zoom import: import a recording from Zoom Cloud

Ask anything — Grain's AI across your meetings

The Ask anything widget in the bottom-right corner opens Grain's AI assistant. Ask questions in natural language and the AI assistant will respond with context across your entire meeting library.

Left sidebar — navigation

The left sidebar is anchored to every page and includes:

  • Workspace settings — view workspace settings, including your account and integrations
